Had an interesting thing happen yesterday. Lowe's was supposed to deliver a fridge yesterday between 12:00 and 3:00 pm. I waited and I waited and I waited. At approximately 3:40, I got a call that they were almost there. Big whoop! Certainly fouled up my day and schedule. Let's say I was not a happy camper.

Turns out that online schedule is different from real-life schedules. Their scheduled is 1:00 to 4:00 pm, so they weren't late. Poor guys were supposed to get off at 4:00 pm, by the time I got done with having them do this, that and the other (like switching fridge door to open from other side), it was 4:30 and my day was totally fouled up.

So, if you schedule a delivery online get a phone number to confirm that the local store has the same delivery schedule.

Needed a Dishwasher for my sister. Ordered and paid for it from Lowes. I was picking up and installing myself. After 7 days of no calls, I checked to see where it was. Lowes never ordered it from the supplier. Another 7-10 days for it to arrived. Cancelled order, went to applinace direct, they had what she wanted in stock. Dishwasher installed in 1 hour. Used Lowes all the time up north but I now go to Home Depot first. I do not want to tell you the probelms I had with Lowes and "cooleroo shades". I have talk to the Lowes manager and he is trying to make improvements but, they have some nasty people working there.:rant-rave:
