Spring Training Baseball

I will be visiting for the month of March. I want to get tickets for spring training baseball games and need to know what the closest major league baseball stadiums are.

Atlanta Braves play in Orlando at Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.
Here's a link to the schedule. We're from NY and my husband is a big METS fan so we usually catch them in March.

Yankees have their spring training in Tampa at Steinbrenner Field.

Boston Red Sox are in Fort Myers, about 3 1/2 hour drive (but worth it!!!).

Houston Astro's play in Kisimee about a hour and 15 min. St Louis Cardinasl and Miami Marlins Play in Jupiter about 3 hours away

The PHabulous PHils play at BrightHouse Stadium in Clearwater about 1:15 away! Check out bus trips thru AAA that leave from The Villages.

Detroit Tigers play in Lakeland, about 1 1/2 hours from TV.

FYI...this year is a World Baseball Classic year Mar. 7th to the 19th, so I would recommend seeing games right before the 7th or after the 19th.

The reason is that many of the stars of your team play in the WBC and Spring Training games tend to have a lot of scrubeenies playing during those 2 weeks!!

Otherwise, if you're a baseball fan, you'll love Spring training here!!!!

Yankees spring training is in Tampa, (one to one a half hours away).

Heading to Clearwater to see the Phils and the Bronx Bombers on the 26th while in TV for a week. Looking forward to it with two of my favorite girls in tow.
