This is an opportunity to have an effect on the quality of the executive golf experience. Our meetings are attended by people who have direct responsibility for all the courses.

It is amazing to me that all those complainers who post about the "poor" golf course conditions have not stepped forward to make their concerns fixed.
I guess talk is cheap.

Members of the EGIG provide golf administration valuable input from the perspective of resident golfers regarding the maintenance and operation of the courses. Cart path conditions, restroom cleanliness, and landscape areas are also evaluated along with the playing areas. Courses don't have to be played to be evaluated. The EGIG member ID allows access to the courses for evaluation without actually playing the course.

This is an opportunity to affect the golf experience on our courses by dealing directly with the people who can make changes.

Sounds like a great opportunity to affect change - why is this limited to only CDD 5 residents?

It isn't. The posting asks for a CDD 5 resident OR someone who plays those courses on a regular basis.

Thanks for posting the position, and if another position opens up, please post again. Not everyone is signed into this forum 24 hours/day, and it may take a week or so for people to even see the posting, much less reply.

That I will definitely do. We have filled the last three vacancies through TOTV posts. Posting notices at the courses did not seem to generate responses as well as posting here. While we don't reach everyone in TV through this board, it seems there are enough people here interested in maintaining and improving our courses that we get better responses. Again, thanks to all for your interest.
