But is there somewhere I can find out what type of music the groups are?

Some of the more popular groups have websites-rocky and the rollers, cactus jack. Otherwise you just have to go and see. I have been here 7 years so i know them by heart.

Try doing a search of each of the band names on TOTV. You will find some helpful reviews written by people on TOTV, and descriptions on what kind of music for a lot of the bands.
