Yesterday my 7 year old niece refused to go outside all day. She told her Mother that she was afraid of falling off the cliff. :a040:. Please don't turn this political. I just thought it was cute...kids say the darnedest things.

Me too.

My son when he was about three or four, was informed he couldn't go to his aunt Carols house to play as she was in the hospital with pnuemonia. He thought for a second and said, "My Grandma has that and spic and span too".

He wondered why i was roaring with laughter. True story.

I don't know, I think we had to ask even then. I didn't know what "a stitch in time" meant for instance

That was cute. Heard one of a grand daughter staring at grandpa across the dinner table at a family gathering. After quite a bit of time passed, the grandpa asked, "Why are you staring at me?" The table went quiet as everyone waited for a reply. The girl responded, "I just waiting to see you drink like a fish." :o
