If you pay attention to the size, they're probably cottages or similar. I'll bet they're LSV rentals.

I believe there is a new rec center also going up in that area, but can't recall the name.

Believe there is to be a regional rec center to be called Eisenhauer near Brownwood but if it is west then could it be Hillsborough?

I drove three today and could not find 50 new homes under construction west of Brownwood on 44A. I saw the new Regional Rec Center across from the fire station. I also saw new stores under construction west of the Brownwood Padock Square.

Rubicon, when you saw me at Publix on Christmas Eve day, did I wish you a Merry Christmas? I did to anyone who even glanced at me. I wish I had known two of those folks was you and Mrs. Rubicon!
You two are very welcome to stop by ANYTIME.

Might we be talking about the newest property acquisition near Lake Deaton that was discussed in the following post?

It will be Eisenhower Regional rec center. The Eisenhower Regional Recreation Center is being built on the west side of Buena Vista and just north of Brownwood. Not where Jimbo is describing!

IMO. and it is only an opinion but based somewhat on history. I believe the last village the developer builds south of 466A is and will be the most desirable in location and that is another reason why they are so (rightfully so) successful

I heard a rumor today (came from a builder) that The Villages bought
several thousand acres across Hwy 44. Property that the Speckled Butterbean is located on.

http://sumtercountyfl.gov/DocumentView.aspx?DID=1921 I believe that the above link would cover the development plan, but the following map link, which I referred to in post #16, is probably the most detailed and comprehensive map currently covering south or 466a. But even this one does not show the newest section being discussed on this thread:

Gee, I wonder if they are referring to the few feet of land the developer already owns surrounding the turnpike where the new interchange is to be built? That would be the after Morse Blvd. is extended to 44 and south of 44 it is known as RT - 468. If I remember correctly there has already been a thread on that subject with links to the county filings.
