Had the opportunity to go to the craft fair in Spanish Springs and had a great time. There were so many booths and so many people. The weather was wonderful and so many very crafty, well done items to pick from. There are some real talented people out there. I bought a sun visor hat for 4.00, a decorated baby spoon for 10.00 and a pair of earrings for 13.00. Those prices I thought were very reasonable, but there were many, many items that were very expensive. The canvas prints were very pricey and the frames prints were too. But, all in all I am so glad these talented people bring their goods for us all to see and appreciate. Did anyone else get any good bargains???

I did not buy anything and just looked around. One thing that was lacking is a husband check area. You know, an area where a wife can drop off her husband while she shops and he can enjoy a comfy chair, a big screen tv, the newspaper and something off the 4 basic food group menu, chicken, ribs, pizza and beer. Wife must sign a statement that she will come back and claim her husband when either her legs give out from walking or she is out of cash and he has the credit cards.
Lots of nice things to look at but the place was packed on Saturday and it was next to impossible to get close to some booths. I parked at La Hacienda Rec Center and walked over. The guy that was trying to walk around with his bike was a little much as was the guy with his dog on a leash.
All in all a nice event and hopefully some people made some money for their efforts.

Now you're talking ......
...So...You also must shop at the Nordstrom's in Pentagon City.
Nothing like a shoe shine...glass of wine...piano music...
..complimentary "horsie doovies" (hor d'oeurves)...
and.... if you were real nice..
....the trip to the Sports Bar hidden behind the ...(silence is Golden)....
I never had the $$$$$ to shop there....
..........however, as a guest of others....
was able to enjoy the amenities provided.
With my very limited budget, am happy to shop once a year at The Rack...
...(Nordstrom's Close Out store in Front of IKEA @ the Mall of Millenia near Orlando)....
.......if I can save up enough $ for the gas to get there..
