For those of you who did not know, Sandra Chester (LPGA Professional) is no longer with the Villages Golf Academy. I freaked out when she left in December, but am happy to share that she is back - and ready to go.
She is starting her own teaching facility at the Oxford Golf Center. It's located 1/2 mile south of Hwy 466 and/or 1/2 mile north of Rainey Trail on the east side of US 301 in Oxford. It is a GRASS ONLY driving range with REAL practice golf balls and lots of targets!
She is offering great pricing for packages for individual and group lessons. Also has an electronic scheduling system for her clients. For now, you can call (352) 446-2255 for lesson information, schedule a lesson and get on her mailing list and new website.
When we relocated to TV 3 years ago, I desperately needed a golf teacher/coach to help me with a severe hip issue. Sandra not only helped me modify my swing so I could golf without pain, but was an amazing teacher (fixing some really bad habits). If you've not taken a lesson from her, she is not your run of the mill, ho-hum teacher. She made me feel very much at ease using plain English to help me understand my golf swing in a whole new way. I cannot say enough about her style of teaching and am thrilled that she decided to stay in TV and continue to teach. Everyone I've recommended has come away from her lessons feeling better about their game in general and some new lower scores.
I've scheduled my first lesson with her for this Wednesday - See you all at the range.
