TunaFish, several people in my neighborhood have used Mike's Dependable Handyman Service... 352-875-3007.
Hope this helps!

Odds are you need a carbon monoxide/smoke detector. When it goes, it frequently sets off all the other alarms. Take it down, purchase a new one, call the Fire Department and they'll happily install it for you. They'll also replace all of your batteries. This is done at no charge -- they'd much rather do it for you so that they don't have to come when you've fallen off the ladder. Plus, they know if they install them, they've been installed correctly.

I would suggest purchasing the same brand detector that are currently installed in your home. That way it'll fit perfectly and there'll be no need for paint touch up. I found identical replacements at Ace hardware.

Before you purchase anything, take the detector down and call the 800 number on the back of the alarm. There were defective alarms (CO2) installed in The Villages and the company will send you alarms for free. There was a recall on the alarms...
Will save you quite a bit of money.

Called them and they said, "How do we get to your house?" So I said, "Don't you still have those big red trucks?"

You need to use a licensed electrician.
