Plantation Shutters

I would like to NOT RECOMMEND "Shutters Direct" if youare in the market for plantation shutters.
They put some in for my sister-in-law and they were good. We expected the same when we ordered the exact same type from Shutters Direct. They messed up our order, then rushed to put in some shutters that they had in stock and they do not fit or work correctly. When contacted to discuss this problem, they have been evasive and do not return our calls. I would not recommend them.

Thanks for the info Bob, I spent a lot of time today talking with shutter vendors and was going to call SD tomorrow. I got good info today and have 2 estimates coming. I keep seeing great reviews onTOTV for 48 HB and having spoken with him, I was impressed. Doing this by phone and internet is somewhat scary!
Have any of you gotten the invisable rod or sill cover? I love the old look with the rod down the middle, so just asking!!! any helpful hints!!!!!!

Seems most people use 48hr Blinds for Plantation Shutters. We did and are very pleased.:pepper2:
