Maybe this should be included under Paperboy's post, but he is looking for a cash discount, whereas I have $50 deductible for my car's "incident," and am looking for a place doing excellent work, likely to deal directly with my MI auto insurance co.

Our Chrysler 200 was hit by a golf ball on 466A earlier today. Perhaps this post should be under "all things golf," because I want to meet the person who can hit the ball so hard it flies out into the opposite lane of a divided highway and leaves an impression bigger than a quarter in the roof of a car (just above the driver's side door). I mean, that is a reinforced part of the car, isn't it? Wow. It startled the heck out of us.

Any suggestions for a good auto body shop will be greatly appreciated.

Ask about paintless dent removal. Less expensive and you don't have to disturb the factory paint.

Ask the body shop about paintless dent repair. It is less expensive and won't disturb the factory paint.

That sounds like the best option. The car has been hit four times now and its only a year and a half old. It's a different color of metallic black that has to be blended/feathered in in a little before and after the dent so it all blends in. The dealer up in MI did the first two. Now I guess I'll have to get to know someone down here who can do the same.
