Happy to be a snowbird!

Hello fellow Villagers! Denny & Ginger here from Northeast PA. Just a week ago we left a foot of snow behind to be snowbirds here in TV! We closed on our house the end of October, spent the month of November here and returned to PA in early December to spend Christmas with the Grandchildren...oh, and their parents. Denny retired the middle of October...he was a workaholic! Since moving here we are attempting to get adjusted to some new schedules and look forward to getting involved in a few things here. It's amazing...we are so busy getting settled in the house, the days just keep clicking by and we wonder where they went!:shrug: We look forward to meeting new friends here in TV.

We are from Mansfield PA, home of Mansfield Univerity, my employer for 34 years. Mansfield is just north of Williamsport PA (home of Little League Baseball) and just south of Corning NY (home of Corning Glass Works).

Thanks! Unfortunately you won't see us cruzin around in that car...we left that one up north. However, you may see us cruzin around in a yellow Prowler! :)

Welcome to TOTV and TV ~ we too are from PA and have been back and forth to TV since settling on our house in November, back up to PA for Christmas and snow : ( and now heading back !!!

Welcome to TV. 95% I think love TV----if we didn't we would just move on! My wife and I are too "snowbirds" but we're full-time when we first retired. Anybody have an estimate on the number of snowbirds here in TV? In our area of Sanibel, there seems to be a pretty large number----maybe one third.
