What exactly is this? I have no clue what a "poker run" is! Someone please fill me in!


A poker run is an organized event where participants,

usually using
motorcycles, boats, horses, or in our case golf carts,

must visit five
checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one.

The object is to have
the best poker hand at the end of the run.

The event has a time limit,
however the participants are not timed�winning is purely a matter of chance.

Oh! Sounds like fun! I'll be on the look-out for another one...we won't be in TV for this one! But I'll tell my parents and maybe they'll participate!

Wow - what great response I've received in just 2 days. Please be patient & I promise to respond & Teddy & I will distribute the tickets to all who live in The Villages. If possible please pay by check made out to American Cancer Society. Tickets are $10 each and you can have as many as you want. I've had people purchase 10 and give them to neighbors....soooooo have at it.

It's gonna be fun for sure AND IT'S FOR A GOOD CAUSE !!!:coolsmiley:
