I like MMD. I have a laptop so I bring it to the shop but I think they do housecalls. They have been very honest and reasonable for me.

I have used Scott Wilcox. He lives in Lady Lake and does housecalls. He has solved a number of computer problems for my wife and I and his prices are fair.

Scott Wilcox (352) 461-5164 of Tech Heads did a really nice job in repairing my wife's busted port on her laptop. Plus he tuned up both PCs and provided some quality free antivirus which, that alone, will pay for the cost of his service call. He's a geek, be ready for that, but he did a very nice job and I'd use him again.

+1 on Jon Townsend. I was referred to him originally by the computer club. I've used him for a few years now and have always found him to be very reasonable and providing excellent service. I've recommended him to others who have, also, been pleased with his service.

I was very pleased with Angelo Milaro, The Villages PC repair. Go to their website and you can get a discount on your service call.

I also highly recommend Scott Wilcox. After getting the “blue screen of death” on my laptop, Scott was able to get a new hard drive installed and recover all my data off the old hard drive overnight. He is good….real good!!!

Highly recommend Scott Wilcox (Tech Head). Give him a call and tell him your problem. (Ph: (352) 461-5164).
He came by our house, sized up the problem, picked up the laptop and had it returned in 24 hours. It worked like a charm. He replaced the hard drive, upgraded operating system, and got us oriented with the new O/S. And did all of this and more very affordably.:clap2:

Thank you all for recommending Scott Wilcox! He was wonderful ! Saved my laptop! I had been using an online web site support service and they advised me to upgrade to windows 8.
After two weeks they couldn't upgrade the machine and they were unable to restore me back to where I was before their "help". I was left with a large paper weight. Called Scott , he came over on Monday and brought the PCM back today YEAH,. Oh yeah the service I was using has been fired

Without question, I would only recommend John, owner of Right Click Computer. He is honest, reasonable/fair pricing, and the most knowledgeable computer person I know. In a conversation with him one day while he was here (I can really screw up a computer!), I mentioned I had an older HP that I was told had a "fried mother board." He ask if I still had it, which I did, and requested to take it with him to work on it. He returned the following day and the HP was fully operational! He was recommended to me by a friend, I know several people who will only use him, and continue to recommend he when asked. You cannot go wrong with him and, yes he comes to your house.

Based on what I read in this forum I called Scott Wilcox. He came over to the house the same day and fixed not only the problem I called him for, but also tuned up my desktop. He was great and very reasonable and a nice guy! I can recommend him without any reservation.
