Why do we need a lecture? Doesn't everyone sleep eight hours a nigh?

Please tell us something new that you learned. We already know we should go to bed at the same time every night, use the bedroom only for sleeping, no big meals before going to bed, and don't use the computer for an hour before bedtime.

Any new news?

Nothing new..actually the seminar was misleading. It was not about Insomnia per se, but rather about sleep apnea.

If you wanted to hear about sleep apnea fine, but otherwise a waste of time in my humble opinion

The only thing I learned is that it's very complex or multifaceted. The doctor said at the beginning of the lecture that to touch upon all aspects of sleep disorders it would take a six hour lecture.

However, there was a two-sheet "hand-out" that some received by waiting in a separate line. I got it but didn't think it was very important. Finally, a couple of days later, I read it and it gives information on how to learn more.

so I'm the only one with a sleep disorder? I have primary insomnia and know more about this topic than the average bear, if you were interested in the seminar, I can tell you about apnea and other forms of sleep disorder if you ask. So-called sleep hygiene is a joke if you really have a sleep disorder.

What is sleep hygiene? Sounds like a bath before bed, probably pretty good advice...and some warm milk, but most of all, the TV on HGTV. Yup. works for me.

Until I wake up for my two o:clock feeding.

OMG! Gracie, you are my evil twin! For me it is a dip in the hot tub, HGTV, and yep 2 AM! But that is actually a good time to book left over tee times!
