Anybody know of a good place to buy fresh meat in the area? I'm looking for fresh-killed chicken, good beef and exotic meats like elk.

Publix has everything but the Elk. No Reindeer either.

For a great piece of meat I recommend Fresh Market. Publix to me has good meat too. Can't help with where to get Elk.

There's a meat market in Belleview on 441 from the Villages on the left. It's a block away from Sweetbay's. They have many varieties of different kinds of meat.

wildwood meats. on 301 at 44a just south of the train depot on the east side of the street. If they don't have it they will get it for you.
