I have a bush I need to get rid of. It is a holly bush that I will be digging up and planting a pindo palm tree in it's place. My question is will the trash guys take the holly bush? It is about 4' tall and about 3' in diameter. If they won't take it any suggestions on how I can get rid of it? Appreciate the help!

You have a yard waste pickup day. In Tamarind Grove, ours is Wed. They will take all yard waste. Branches/trees must be cut to 36" or less and bundled. Regular rubbish service is not supposed to take yard waste.

Do you know where I can call to find out the day for Buttonwood pick up day for yard waste? Thanks!

Just take some scissors and cut up into little pieces and put out with regular trash.

Defeats the purpose of yard waste recycling

WOW, by looking at the title of this thread-

Except I thought it was "Dub" Bush, especially with the "Capital Letters".

You may already be aware, but be sure & allow plenty of growing room for your pindo palm, since when mature they can easily have a 10' wide spread. When we visited TV last month I noticed several pindos & date palms planted way too close to homes, sidewalks & driveways that will soon outgrow their space.

Enjoy your new palm!
