Hi guys:
I've been trying for quite some time to buy some golf shoes. I need some that are soft on the inside to cushion my foot that has some nerve damage. Any suggestions on certain shoes to try? I tried the Nike Lite mesh shoes and although they were light and airy they were too rough on the inside and rubbed. This would be a lady's shoe I'm looking for. Any idea who carries the largest variety? I really need to try them on, so can't really go on line for this. Need something light and cushy.
Thanks for your help.

We always walk when we golf and finally got tired of Foot Joys hurting my feet. Bought a pair of Addias and have been happy since. Been wearing them past their expected life but they are still comfortable. My wife wears whatever matches her golf outfits so I'm not sure she would be any help.

Many of my friends wear Ecco Golf shoes but they are only available in pro shops around here which makes them even MORE expensive. Anyone know where they can be purchased a little cheaper?
I have Footjoys, but they aren't.

I wear foot joys, they are so light I don't even feel I am wearing shoes. You have to remember we all are different so what works for one will be miserable on another. There is a big shoe outlet in Ocala that sells golf shoes. It is just off 75 at the exit for route 200 then left. I can't remember the name but am sure someone will know it. Good luck!

I am a big fan of FootJoys and have always been able to walk nine holes on them right out of the box. I do have many friends who swear by Ecco, as they have a larger toe box. Good luck!

I've had good luck with Footjoy golf sandals. Adjustable chord on top for tightening or loosening arch and adjustable velcro sides. Bought at the Edwin ? Golf Store in front of Publix on 466.

The Golf Shoe Warehouse is at the 484 and the 75, on the west side of the freeway. There is a small shopping plaza there behind the hotel. They have all brands and all sizes (were even able to accommodate my husband's size 15!). I also have bad feet with very little padding on the bottom and I find Foot Joys to be the most comfortable because of the extra cushioning.

With 29 years of golf under my belt (female belt) I have yet to find a golf shoe that is comfy enough for me. On the colder days I wear tennis shoes (Asics) and during warmer weather I wear a good pair of walking/hiking sandles. My favorites are Teva's from Beall's for $50.00.

I didn't think it was worth the trip. I have a pair of Sandbaggers golf sandals and a pair of Calloways (not sandals). I find both VERY comfortable. At least last year, some of the country clubs here in the Villages carried Sandbaggers. I think Nancy Lopez has the best selection of women's shoes and clothing, probably women's clubs also.

Ill second Sandbaggers sandals! I got them at Americas Golf Outlet near Ace and Winn Dixie. They have very soft soles that mold to your feet and are wider than some shoes. Were about $50. Stay outta the sand!chilout

I have been told that Baseline Golf Course has a large selection of golf shoes. You might want to try them. The golf shoe store referred to in previous posts, is hit and miss with sizes and styles. You can get lucky and find a great deal, however I have better luck ordering the same shoes online. I wear a variety of golf shoes...but saying that they must be comfortable for me.
