I have approx. 40 family members, most of whom live in Florida. They are coming for a visit Memorial Day weekend. Any suggestions on a restaurant that could accommodate that big of a party?

I think Cattle Baron has a semi-private room that might, but I don't know if resident cards being required would be a problem. Perhaps someone else could answer that question or you could call them direct!

We had a large get-together at Taverna Red. Italian food reasonably priced and they have a large private room with a bar.

Codys & City Fire can accommodate large groups.

I don't have any suggestions but I think it sounds like a great time, have fun with your family when they get here in May.

I would recommend Pasta Faire in Belleview. They can handle groups of 60+. Went there this week with a group of 24 and everything was great...food, service, etc....and reasonably priced!

When you have people not living in The Villages coming to an event at a rec center there is a charge, They only allow free use if all people present are villagers. I know this because a friend rented a space at a rec center for a birthday party. Just kinda wanted to throw that in, if people didn't know it.
Seems fair to me.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! Now I'm off to see if they are available!
