For those of you who didn't catch it there was an obituary in today's paper - Steve Burstock from Lotto Carpet Cleaning died on January 12.

I started using Steve to clean our carpeting after reading comments here on TOTV.

He was here on January 3rd and I could tell he was anxious about something. He told me that he had some bad medical news and after leaving my place he was headed to the hospital to become an inpatient for testing. We chatted a bit and he gave me some details. I tried to ease his mind by telling him of both my wife's and good friend's successful battles with cancer. He feared the worst and I was saddened to read his obit in the paper.

I am saddened by this news. Steve also did my carpets but he was such an affable and friendly man, just nice if you know what I mean. Condolences to the family. Very sad.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear this. He was such a great guy. He cleaned my carpets when I first moved here in '08 and when I replaced them with wood floors, he came to clean my large area rugs. He was a very nice man. So sorry that bad things happen to such good people.

RIP Steve, you can now keep all the carpets clean up in Heaven. We will miss you.

So sorry to hear about Steve. I, too, used him to clean my carpets with the recommendation of TOTV. He did his job well, was trustworthy, and a very pleasant person to be around.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sorry to hear about him. We were planning on using him soon to have our carpets cleaned. The Sun article included that his partners will continue serving his customers. You can see his obit at Havre Daily News (http://www.havredailynews.com/cms/news/story-670***.html)

Our hearts go out to Steve's family. Very friendly, hard working and wonderful conversationalist. It was a pleasure getting to know him. Thank you BogeyBoy for posting the info along for us not down there and Skyguy79 for the link to his obituary. Good picture with a nice smile, the way we saw him. We're sorry we can not make the memorial service.

Has anyone used the new people that took over Steve's business? I was just wondering what kind of job they did and what kind of service you received from them. We were so pleased with Steve's service I would think it would be hard to match.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I was trying to reach Steve earlier today, and I just checked on TOTV to make sure I had the correct phone number. I've been using Steve for six years. He was a great guy, very open and engaging. He seemed so healthy and energetic. Oh, I'm so sad and shocked that he has passed through. RIP Steve.
