In the early 70's, I bought a 69 Chevelle SS. It was red with black stripes and it looked nice. Then I had it painted black with silver stripes. It then looked really nice after washing that thing. But, I could drive around the block and then had to wipe it down again. I made my mind up I'd never have another dark vehicle again and I haven't! However, now I am seriously considering an all black cart. Lot smaller, so lot easier to keep clean. The question I have, is the heat factor. For those who have or did have or know someone with an all black cart, do or did you wish or did they wish another color would have been best because of the HEAT?

We had a black cart but did have a pin stripe. It always looked great. You may have to wash it a little more often or wipe it down, but washing a golf cart is a piece of cake. I say go for it. You may want a little contrast in the sumbrella.

We have a black cart and heat is not a factor and we love it and it looks sharp with the black top and black sunbrella with gold stripes. Very easy to keep clean too

I have two good friends who have a black cart----never heard them say anything about heat. If you are a snowbird, certainly not a problem. Personally, I prefer a bright color so you can see me coming! Lots of golf cart accidents in TV and it might help a "little."

I have a black cart and black sunbrella cover. The cover goes over the top too, so yes, it does get a little warm in the summer sun.
It's a little harder to keep clean than my tan cart, but it only takes a couple minutes to wipe it down with a microfiber cloth.
Heat would not prevent me from buying another black cart though.

We have a black one and a blue one and both show dust and dirt. A quick squirt from the hose every few weeks and all is fine. No big deal; when I retire who do I have to impress?. :ho:

Well, my wife and I are very pleased to receive so many positive feed backs. Helped us make that decision. So a Black cart with some accents will be in our garage soon. We will now rest and sleep better at nights until we pull the pin on the money. Then after we spend the money... Guess we'll go back to those restless nights.:a040: Thanks for all the input.
