Garage Sale Season

Is there a garage sale season in The Villages? You know, that time of year (or times of the year) when one can drive from one garage sale to another all day on a Friday or Saturday?

I furnished much of my current home with garage sale bargains and I'm hoping to do it again once I move.

Pretty much all year round. More Jan-April. Not really all day long.....most sell out by noon.

The Village of La Renalda has one, usually the 3rd weekend in Feb, which involves 30 to 50 families, depending on the year. Half day Saturday only. Slam! Bam! Lets see the cash and haul away all the good stuff!:thumbup:

Funny you should ask! I am organizing a West Hemingway neighborhood garage sale on March 2nd. It was a huge success last year so we anticipate the same this year.

Garage sales go on all year but the prime season seems to be spring and fall. But keep watching the posts for Garage Sales and hopefully we'll see you at our sale on March 2nd!

went to that one last year - wicked good!!!! will go again this year - but will park outside the gate and WALK thru the neighborhood! will take my life in my hands what with the traffic - but it will be easier to jump out of the way of a vehicle that just HAS to get to the next yard!!!! ;)
