Launch tonight at Canaveral....window: 8:48P to 9:48P....probability of launch 70% - winds. Can be viewed live on at least one Orlando prime channel or:
NASA - NASATV (http://www.nasa.gov/ntv)
Anybody know if these launches are typically visible in TV's eastern sky??

Lots of people drive their golf carts over to the polo fields. Great view if it's a clear night.

Just look east where you have lots of sky and you'll see it. We just walk out front.

On time...saw what I believe was it...about 115 degrees on the compass.

yes saw the rockets flame, very clear, then the boosters dropped off I guess and lost sight.

Nice view from Santiago area. Moved very slow compared to shuttles.

We were outside and saw it very clear. I also called my freind in Cocoa Beach and she discribed what she was seeing at the same time. Pretty neat.
BostonCelt, Thanks so much for the alert on TOTV. It was a good view. Would have missed it if we hadn't read it here.
