The Numbers News - The Numbers 16th Annual Predict the Oscars Contest (http://www.the-numbers.com/interactive/newsStory.php?newsID=7964)
You can win all 9 movies on DVD or Blu-Ray if you have the best prediction from entries around the United States.
I have been doing this for a few years. Quite fun. Never won though but did come in among the people taking 4th.

I am protesting/boycotting the Oscars because of their treatment of the best movie of the year Zero Dark Thirty. I am also protesting/boycotting John McCain, diane Feinsten and Jeff flake for their commentary which contributed to the treatment Zero Dark thirty is receiving for attempting to be accurate and factual. Of course it may not mean much especially since I never have watched the Oscars. I mean who the heck wants to watch narcissus fawning over one another. Oh how awesome and amazing you are , you too Oh no, you are more awesome and amazing. Oh no.......... and by the way what are you wearing?

I rarely watch the Oscars either but I do like to see the highlights from it-- the speeches, comedy skits, movie outakes, and who wins. Also like to see the dresses and suits as well.
Zero Dark Thirty was OK but liked Argo, Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, Lincoln, and Les Misérables
more. http://oscar.go.com/nominees Have not seen the other two Best Picture nominees.
Would assume that most of the actual facts about the hunt, death and burial of Osama Bin Laden are still classified so very few of the exact details of what actually happened would be accessible. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Osama_bin_Laden

Congratulations to all the Oscar winners on February 24, 2013. Does not look like my very conservative picks for Oscar winners will have won me the 9 DVDs or Blu-Rays that were the prize for making the most correct predictions. I got a few wrong. :grumpy:

I did the perfect viewing of the Ocars last night. I fell asleep and woke up for the best actor, actress and best picture.

I have not actually watched it yet. I taped it and will get to it eventually. Had to watch The Walking Dead instead.
Am interested in the results before I watch the tape though. http://www.the-numbers.com/interactive/newsStory.php?newsID=8051

Got 17/24 predictions right for the February 24, 2013 Oscars. Not too good.

Looks like the Oscars will probably be on March 2, 2014 or March 9, 2014 to avoid clashing with March Madness and of course with the Winter Olympics 2014.( Feb 7-23, 2014) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/26/oscars-2014-date-olympics_n_2767147.html?utm_hp_ref=entertainment
