Wow another book store closing . Books a million in Ocala. Was up there few days ago and told they are closing. I hope the days of books are not disappearing. I prefer a book to a kindle anytime. I loved that store and would often go up there as they carried different books from Barnes and Noble. If they get rid of books, I quit reading and I LOVE to read

I LOVE my Kindle PaperWhite! :read:
Gee, what happened to all the Video stores and (going way back) Record stores that used to be on every corner?

Exactly right.... PROGRESS is the answer.

Watch what your Kids/Grandkids are using or wanting. That is where successful industries will be innovating.

Now....back to my iPad...

There is Nothing like holding a real book, turning the pages, underlining what you like, making notes, etc.. The feel of the book, the smell, etc....NOTHING BEATS IT. I'm sure many agree they still prefer a book. And I have so many that are authographed by the authors!! Nothing beats my den with my book shelf filled with great reads. I love being surrounded by my books. Am I alone out here?

Such a shame! I have always liked this book store, and spent many $$$$$ over the years. In my town, Poole, I think we have 3 book stores, one is ok, the others just sell rubish. I like crime books, James W. Hall etc, but can not buy over here.

Book stores and marginal malls all across the country are closing. On-line purchasing keeps on growing---our kids hardly shop anywhere else. I've heard of schools without books! Change Change Change! It's everywhere!
