We have so many hilariously funny and talented writers on TOTV, wondered if any of you have written books....When and What? Thank you

My husband is starting to write a book about weather patterns...not funny, unless you've had a few. Then, the word Mammatus is hysterical! :1rotfl:

Like many frustrated writers, I started a novel about 10 years ago. The first 30 pages are somewhere on my computer. Probably in Word2. lol.

No, but there was a time that I considered writing one called....
Raising Children for Fun and Profit.
Never had the time.

That must have been in the olden days. No profit in them nowadays :) other than supreme happiness.

Yes, I wrote and published a children's story "The Worm Tickler" and my dear friend illustrated it. Available Amazon and Facebook, or message me :)

I also authored a short story collection. Admit it was published too early and there were issues in the book that were since corrected. Two stories I completely rewrote, whikle the other stories also were revise and reedited.
I intend to publish these and twenty five other stories again. I am currently working on a novel about Human Trafficking.
Note: There are a handful of writing groups in The Villages and I suggest you check them out.

I've always wanted to write a book but realized I never would have that much talent. I think I will go to the author's group and check it out.
Someone I work with is a published author and she wrote a couple of books about fictional witchcraft.

It is one of these but actually posting my older brother's name would kind of defeat the semi- anonymity allowed on TOTV at least for people I have not met somewhere in the Villages or elsewhere.
I have probably sent a small library of e-mails out in my fight for respect for survivors/victims of violent crimes over the past 15 years or so but have never written a book. Not sure anyone would believe some of the things that happened if I did.

Maybe you could write a fictional murder mystery. I know that Dick Wolf, (Law an Order for one), made a fortune out of doing it.
