My Hat's Off To All The Villages' Volunteers

Reading the Daily Sun article about Billy and Marian Kraft and all the effort and kindness they put into Mr. and Mrs Santa Clause over the many past years makes me think of all the other people and groups that volunteer their knowledge, time, effort, and resources to make this place so wonderful. Event leaders, instructors, club leaders, charity causes, performing groups, one-on-one helping --- etc. etc., and on and on. Some are big events such as theatrical productions or the running of large clubs, others are individual such as the exotic high tech Christmas light shows, others are individuals sharing what they like to do or know, such as the model railroad group enchanting my grand kids at their Chrismtas show, and others are as simple and compassionate as one-on-one neighbors helping other neighbors in need.

When I think about it, there isn't a day that my activities are not touched or aided by at least a few, or sometimes many of the Villager volunteers.

Thanks to all who make The Villages a great place to live.
