Can four golfers use a 4-seat cart on the golf courses? I've heard there is a limit to two people to a cart, regardless if it is a 2 or 4 seater.

Don't know but where would you put your clubs?

My understanding is that every golfer has to have his own set of golf clubs. No sharing of clubs.

The Exec courses do allow "riders" to accompany golfers. Could this be a case of 4 players (2 carts) and 4 riders in a separate cart...no clubs) who dont play golf??

There must be a rule regarding the number of riders allowed per 4 some??..if not I could see a 4 some having their own rooting section of XX people accompanying them.

From the Good Golf Guide:

"A maximum of two bags and riders are allowed per golf car, regardless of the number of seats available. The only exception to this guideline is on the executive courses if the golf car remains on the golf car path at all times."

Our Helene goes with me when I play golf in our four seater. She must show her ID and would have to pay a trail fee each time, but she is paid for the year. They put a spectator banner on each time she is with us and she never leaves the cart.

It is correct that only two golfers and two golf bags on each cart and every golfer is supposed to have his/her own clubs.

It would slow things down if one cart had to go to 4 balls each time.

Thank you! Exactly what I was hoping to find.

A better idea is to attend the good golf school presented at Colony rec center every couple of weeks. Get your information from the people that actually know. IMHO, good golf school should be mandatory for all residents who play in TV.

Last Sunday there was two aduts and two children, looks to be under 10yrs old in the same golf cart. I saw the kids get out of the cart and start swinging digging up the grass whenever they got out the cart. The ambassador came by and the lady told him when asked how many were playing she said well I let my kids hit a few. There was other things said and the ambassador said he will check on it and left and never came back. Really? $$ for adults to play and bring the kids along for fun. WOW!

I was told that in order to eject people from the course the ambassador must call their supervisor and have the supervisor drive to the course to do it..

A child can be allowed to play golf but only after he/she has had one of the pros give him permission after an interview and test of his ability. It certainly does not seem like that was the case here at all.

I have played golf for 40 years and have seen things like this happen ONLY here. (gritting my teeth)
