Just purchased a homesite on Touchstone Terrace and have been given an "order" date. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of living there in The Villages, the best place to get home owners insurance and auto insurance, which cell phone service and which cable service works best there?

Any other info for newbies would be greatly appreciated.

For estimated costs of living, try http://www.thevillages.com/images/CostofLiving.pdf. If you have a pool it will be more, it doesn't include mortgage costs if you carry one and you'll get opinions that this amount is too low. Depends on your lifestyle.
