Small Project Landscapers

Has anyone used a landscaper for a small project? I have an Amarillo and want an island ibstalled on the front lawn incorporating an existing holly tree and adding a small palm tree. I also want the front gardens raked of bark mulch, new garden cloth put down, then rock mulch all around including the new island.
Any suggestions on who to contact?

Do NOT use Joe preston of Createscape. He took our deposit and never came back. Doesn't return calls either. You may like to call Seniors VS Crime when hiring a landscaper. Their number is 352-689-4600, x4606. They will tell you if they have had a problem with your potential contractor.

if you want a pro, contact some of the many good landscape/nurseries that often do work here (search our forum using the button at the heading bar on this site) and ask if they will do the size job you have in mind. VISIT their nurseries.

We have a courtyard villa - not a big space. We used Village Palms and were most happy. They gave the best warrantee on the palm, too.

There are many good, reputable companies out there. Stick with the pros that HAVE BEEN HERE for a long time and you won't be disappointed.
