What does it mean when someone just posts the word bump?

Short for "bring up my post."
Brings the post back up to the top of the New Posts so more people will see it.
Some people will just type dots..... for the same effect

Thank you!The bump is a dance fad from the 1960's. So every time someone posts "bump," they're actually in the privacy of their own home and doing what you see in the video!

Bump is used to bring a post back to the top of the listings of posts. Anything typed in will have the same effect.
