Has anyone noticed that the "village of ________" is missing on thevillages4rent website...having a hard time figuring out where the homes are.

If you go to this page, you can do a search by Village:

Everybody seems to refer to ..4rentbyowner, but what many folks don't realize is that these owners are not licensed to rent. That means renters have no protection or recourse if things are "not quite as advertised". Sure, most owners are great people who keep their places up, but some don't know how to do that well, aren't readily available when there are problems, and some actually put things in their ads which are not true. The classic one is that there is a pool, but they mean the one that's several blocks away.
