I don't know what exact system you bought, but I have had nothing but great results from Refresh. I hope you get this resolved, but I've found that talking with them one on one has always solved any problems. Good luck.

When I have a problem with my computers I always call one of the guys from the Villages Computer Club. They come to your house to fix it, and take it away if it needs more attention than they can give it in your home. They are all honest and knowledgeable. They can usually solve your problem in an hour. I have been using Paul Rabenold, but I am sure they are all good. Of course they don't sell computers, so I buy new in those cases. They can help you set it up or transfer your files. Try them and you'll never go back

I brought my computer in to Refresh as the pointer would not move.
The took the computer to look it over, called me a couple of days later
and told me what the problem was and cost to fix..

I had my computer back in 10 days.

I think this company in The Villages is great.....

The frozen cursor problem probably meant the computer booted and then immediately locked-up with 100 percent CPU utilization. Finding and removing the computer virus or reimaging the hard drive with updates takes time if it's done systematically.

Removing malware and / or a computer virus takes hours not days.

The computers motherboard went the man at refresh said it is rare and it was new..so they sent it to be fixed putting in a new board that did not last. So they order a new one 3 weeks coming UPS they have no tracking number on this order??? Somethings not right here.

Seems a shame to have a new computer out of commission for so long. Two bad mother boards is not a good omen. Could the power supply be burning them out? I've purchased my last two HP computers from Costco andSams Club, figuring they'd take them back within 90 days if necessary plus their one year warranty.

I have used Refresh Computer on 2-3 different occasions and have nothing but great feedback to report. They have always been very helpful, prompt, courteous, and do not push unecessary work. Their pricing is well within reason. Can't understand why the OP has had this very unusual problem but again, they have been excellent in fixing some of my minor computer problems. I will continue to frequent and recommend them.

I am Brian the new manager of the Refresh Computers Store here in The Villages, a member of TOTV, and a Villager since 2011. I have looked into this situation and found the following: The computer was brought in for repair under warranty on 2/01/13, the post was less then 1 month after we received it for repair, not 2 months. A new motherboard was ordered for the computer after it came in it we found it too was defective. We contacted the manufacturer, got another board and completed the repair. The repair took longer then we would have liked but it was not near as bad as it was made to look. I am truly sorry that this person had a bad experience but I believe the vast majority of out clients have very good experiences with us. We are an honest company that takes care of it's costumers. David, the owner tells us that "No sale is ever final" and that is one of the reasons I came to work for Refresh Computers. Thanks Brian

okay, now I am confused. Was this a rehab computer you bought for $1000. or brand new, but even it was brand new why in the world would you buy such a high dollar computer unless you are running a business???

It takes less than 10 days if you take it to MMD Computer in Lady Lake or Leesburg.

I have used ReFresh for several years and bought refurbished computer system from them. Some of my repairs or diagnostic services have been free. Can't beat that price! We have probably been there 5 times and never a delay problem and always good service.
