(On pre-owned) What did you do about the final "walk through"? Did you just not have one or did you have someone do it for you?

Our agent did the walk through for us. We totally trusted her judgement.

Thank you again, Gracie...for being our proxy on the pre-closing, walk-thru with our TV agent. It gave us "calm confidence" that all would go A-OK with the walk-thru [1-year-old home], since we were 1,000 miles away at the time. Sigh, relief. Smile.
Gene & Kathy,
formerly "area neighbors" with you in Ohio,
and soon-to-be TV residents in Sanibel (for us)

Our agent did the walk thru on our new CYV!! We then came down to The Villages 2.5 months later with furnature. We noticed that a couple of minor things were not working, a GFI in the garage and the door bell not functioning. Called the Home warrantee department and within 2 hours of our call, an electrician was finished fixing the two issues.
The home buying process could not be any easier :)

we were lucky,my brother and sister inlaw are already villagers.they were instrumental in our buying our pre owned in country club hills.they worked closely with our realestate agent.it seemed at the tme that the whole transaction was complicated, but looking back we would do it all over again

We had the inspector do the walk thru along with our realtor friend who called me to ease our minds ....After closing we took a 2 week vacation , went to LSL to get our pictures taken and get our passes and keys, I looked at my wife and said well lets go see what we bought, and it was exactly what was described ....Also I had my realtor take some pics at the walk thru and had him e-mail them to me so I could see...Easy Peasy...

Our agent did the walk thru and then when we went down we made an appointment with the builder to come and meet with us.
