Building Addition

We are considering buying a 2 BR mfg home in Orange Blossom Gardens and would eventually be interested in constructing an addition (3rd BR) off the back. Other than requiring a normal permit, is it legal within the Villages to do this and what are the rear yard building set-back requirements?

It's probably different by counties but Lake County is the most flexible. It could probably be done on the historic side as many home sthere have several additions.

You will also need stamped engineered drawings for the building permit.
