Does anyone have any information on the Master Gardeners Lectures given here in TV? I remember hearing about this series when I first moved here.
Now that I am here for a while I am ready to start planning out my garden and could sure use the expertise of knowledgable gardeners.

Depending on what county you live in, search the web for the county extension office and you can see what is available. I live in Sumter County and they have free classes (and some you pay for), master Gardeners are available on certain days to go talk to one on one and they have Twice on Tuesdays gardening panel discussion. Their services are fantastic.

There is a person who gives gardening information at Bradenton rec center I believe it is the first Thursday of each month at 1:00. Please look in the rec paper that that comes out on Thursdays to be sure of date and time.

Here's some info for you, leenie:
Plant Clinics by Sumter County Master Gardener (http://sumter.ifas.ufl.edu/Hort-MG/plant_clinics.shtml)
Scroll down to "Florida Gardens, Questions and Answers" - held at Sterling Heights.
See also "Plant Clinic Locations" just above that - held at the Sumter County Government Annex Building near Morse and 466.
