Baseball bats don't kill statues... people do! The only answer to a bad person with a baseball bat is a good person with a baseball bat!

She was shown on one of the local tv channels and was rambling on and on. Defiantly not all together.
How about this evening on Fox 35 in the crawl at the bottom of the screen they had a short blip about a landscaper in TV being arrested for grand theft and something else (maybe breaking and entering or forced entry). I just checked the web site and of course it is a few days behind except for the major stories.

I can... this has been around a long time. If you bury a statue of St. John upside in your yard, your house will sell fast. It's worked for us. Also, one time we when we wanted to sell a sailboat, we buried a statue of St John upside-down in a pot in the dock box at the marina slip. That worked too!

We don't need to ban baseball bats. We just need to have a 7 day waiting period before we are allowed to buy them. We should also consider baseball bat education seminars before people are allowed to buy a baseball bat,

And no selling of baseball bats over the internet. Or used baseball bats sold privately--a no-no!

Thanks Skyguy, I needed this laugh tonight! St Joseph worked for us! The problem is i forgot to dig the little bugger up and bring him with us to TV! Not sure what dire fate that will bring upon us!
I recently emailed that little St Joseph trick to a friend in NC who is desperate to sell her home! She emailed me back and asked if she should get adult or children's! :1rotfl:

Thanks, I meant St Joseph. Also, you must dig him up after the sale, or bad karma on you.The St. Joseph statue worked for us when we sold 3 homes ago in 2009. Afterward we went back and neither of us could find the statue where we buried it. However, mostly good has befallen us ever since then, but that might be because St. Joseph is my patron saint and he's looking out for me. If so, I thank him as he's done a good job of it.
BTW, they say that if you don't like your neighbor you can bury the statue facing their house and their house will sell. Before we sold in 2009, I was tempted to do that to my neighbor directly across the street. He was a butinsky and a general PIA! :1rotfl:

That's because it was a metal bat. We should only allow wooden bats under a certain weight to be sold to private citizens. Why would anyone need a metal bat?

St. Micheal the Archangel defeated Lucifer and his followers amoung the angels and cast them into Hell. We pray to him to drive the evil spirits back into Hell. Before the NovusOrdo, the St. Micheal prayer was prayed at the end of every low Mass. Once removed with the new Mass, the World has gone down and evil seems to be running wild. Some Churches up here still pray the St. Micheal Prayer at the end of Mass.

No matter what, he is still an archangel and our pretty statue of him at St. Timothys is kind of caput. It is just a thing. Not a person.
Statues aren't the real deal and that may be what angered her or some kind of idea like that.
The red cans at the entrances of St. Timothy's that were there to collect money for the poor were stolen last week.
Again Father Ed said, "They need our prayers". He is a good person.

And we have to remember that many homeless are mentally ill persons who were left with nowhere to go after state mental institutions were closed. Just sayin'.
She may have had in issue with St Timothy because she isn't mentally stable.

Ha! So true. There is a statue of a saint in a park in Montmartre who is carrying his head. Creepy. Saint Denis, first bishop of Paris, was sentenced to death by pagan priests for spreading too much Catholicism.
According to the legend, once decapitated, he stood up, picked up his severed head from the dirt and walked 6 km to the North, preaching a sermon the entire way. Amazingly, he even stopped to rinse his head off along the way.
