Senior apartments

What is available in or near The Villages for senior independent living apartments?

There are literally hundreds under construction as we speak. IMHO, what's lacking are over 55 apartments that are NOT assisted living. My mother would love to move here, but cannot handle 4-5 thousand per month that the existing/under construction places are asking.

New over 55 apartment under construction at the corner of 466A and 462. I believe they are already signing leases, but don't know when they will be operational.
