Visited The Villages for the first time on March 2nd, chose a Designer Home in the Village of Fernandina on March 6th, and signed sales agreement on March 8th with closing on April 8th. Talk about impulsive....!!!......but we were truly amazed by the activities and beauty of The Villages. During our visit we met numerous people who each had nothing but praise for The Villages and we figured that there had to be something here that we needed to experience....so we purchased.

Looking forward to moving in.....experiencing the lifestyle that is offered......initially on a seasonal basis with long term goal of moving permanently.

Since there is so much to do here.......am looking for suggestions as to how to experience without overloading oneself. Where do you start? All advice is welcome.

Thanks.

Welcome fellow Fernandinians. Where in Fernandina? We are snow flakes and love our week a month in Fernandina. There are a few social groups in Fernandina and a very active women group.

Hi Aria: Congrats on your move. Which Fernandina village are you in? My wife, Marsha, and I are building on Partridge Ave. in Fernandina 206, and our design team meeting is April 22. We will become FROGS when it is built and we can move in and if our house up here in PA is sold. I hope your closing goes perfect.
