Handicap enabled golf cart

Is there a place in or near the Village that modifies golf carts for use by the handicap? Because of a stroke my wife would require a cart that can be operated by the left hand and left foot. Can this be done without all the special rules required to modify an automobile?

There is a place on 27 south of the turnpike on the way to Clairmont that modifies cars and vans
They may be abel to help, let me know if they will supply then hand control unit perhaps we can work with them.
