Even though it would mess up my brackets, I almost always root for the underdog. I am very conservative with bracket picks never taking much risk so I do have Florida advancing.

Like most of the country before Friday afternoon I believe, I didn't know FGCU even existed, let alone anything about them. Had no idea where it was, thought perhaps Panama City or Pensacola. But I'm sure every basketball fan in America knows about them now! What a story. What a team. Everyone I know is pulling for them to beat the Gators friday nite. Sorry, but there aren't too many Gator fans in Alabama. LOL

I'm a die-hard Gator fan and alumnus, but even in me a small, dark corner is pulling for FGC. :^)

My son is at is a Florida State student, so gotta be for the upset....
and my nephew and his wife got their MBAs from there....nice school in a pretty setting glad they will get noticed more now

It's been fun to watch FGC enjoy themselves so much. While it's great to watch the old, established programs do well, it's refreshing to watch a team just have fun. Even though we're from Indiana but lived in Kansas for many many years and now are Gator fans as well, it will be great to see how all of this plays out. We're just enjoying it all!

There always one Cinderella team that arises from time to time and this year it's Florida Coast Gulf University. I was one to root for the underdogs when I don't have a dog in the fight.
