What is the name of the village where Nancy Lopez has her home?
Is it Hermeswood or something similar to that?

Found a resale home in "unknown village" to the RIGHT quadrant of the Polo Grounds. Map does not show what village it actually is.

The advertisement says the home was built in 2004 and has large back yard with plenty of room for pool and birdcage, which it does......mature palm tree on front lawn. Pink stucco home, etc. Lantana. Carpeting allowance given to change carpeting; ditto for paint.....which is mauve.

We used to drive past the Polo Grounds every day while heading back home. Remember a sign that said "use other entrance" so we never did get into Hermeswood.

Not sure if that is the proper spelling or where the home is, only that it said it was the same neighborhood Nancy Lopez chose to build her home...............and I recall that Hermeswood was someplace near the Polo Grounds area. The Polo matches were enjoyed by all, by the way.

This house was on a cul de sac but not a golf course....but huge back yard for TV........with plenty of room for a birdcaged inground pool addition.

She is on the golf course she designed and is in Briar Meadows. Can't remember which hole she lives on.

Thank you. Got out our Villages map and found Briar Meadows and then found Wisteria easily.........thank you so much.

It's NOT to the right of the Polo Grounds like the realtor mentions.

But it is in Nancy Lopez' "neck of the woods"..........my husband said he rode the golf cart through that area going to Publix........just taking a round about drive.

The homes look to be further apart with much larger back yards.......
He liked the more mature tall shade trees and ditto for the tall palm trees.

Didn't Desperate Housewives live on Wisteria ???????????
(in their fictional town)........

I am not sure if she still owns the home, but you are referring to the home at the corner of the 8th green and the 9th hole of Erinn Glenn.

When Nancy Lopez was interviewed by the Tampa Bay Times a few years back, she was asked if still lives in FL. She said no, I live in AL. She is now divorced from husband, Ray Knight, and she said she was busy getting ready for her daughter's wedding.

It was always my hunch that she was given the house in Briar Meadows for marketing purposes.

Harmeswood was the first premier home community built in TV in 2000-2001. There are models there that were never replicated in other villages.

Senior. We rented in Harmeswood when our home was being built year before last. It has HUGE lots and very interesting and different homes, some look "New Englandish".

Lovely area and beautiful waterways behind homes and very different from other villages. I think there is a total of 53 homes in Harmeswood.

Here is one of two homes listed in Harmeswood today on thevillages.com.

I saw her about a year ago in her backyard space, while my friends and I teed off on the ninth hole. We were tickled to death, however rumor has it she no longer lives there, but I cannot confirm it.

I'm sorry, but I think the kitchen looks like a barbers shop! Not my style at all. So sorry if this is your home, just not my style :(

She never owned a home here. The Villages owns it and she can stay in it any time she visits. Other than that, it's empty most of the time. I think it's 17324 Willowick Cir. off Legacy Lane. It's 3800 sq. ft. !!!

Nancy Lopez did for the LPGA what Arnold Palmer did for the PGA. She is just as personable as she was a great player. Skip what you say about her home makes sense----unfortunate regarding her longtime marriage.
