We have small homes starting at about 70K. We have pretty villas.
By a condo just what do you mean exactly? I have heard different definitions of the word CONDO in different part of the country. Some mean apartments and some mean stand alone homes.
Welcome to the forum.
Here is a link if you want to see what The villages have to sell.

Also Lyle Gant is an MLS realtor on this site and he can help you too.
I think there is a link to thevillages4rent. Someone will tell us the exact way to spell it.

What are those townhouse-style homes that are just a bit north of Spanish Springs? I don't know of any others like that in TV except right there sort of between SS & St. Timothy's Church. Would they be considered a condo since there seems to be no separate land with each one?

What are they called here? They are conjoined I think. I am thinking townhomes?

We live in the Villas of Spanish Springs and it is a condo with a condo association.

Yeah..I would think that's right. But are they more like condos where all the groundskeeping & such is done as part of your amenity fee? It doesn't look like there is any "private" land with them. Just curious because I've seen no other homes like them in TV.

There are some near Glenview Country Club too. They are the only two story homes in The villages. Lovely to look at.

I was thinking more like a townhome than condo. I do not want yard maintenance. Thanks everyone.

You can always do what many of us do - hire a service that takes care of all of that. Not that expensive and solves the whole "do I *have* to mow this week?" question.

As was previously mentioned, the only condos in The Villages are the townhouses at Spanish Springs and the villas at Glenview where the condo fee includes all outside maintaintence. These resales run from $279,000 to $329,000, or you could buy a less expensive courtyard or patio villa and hire someone to mow your grass for $45 per month.

$45 Sounds reasonable for Lawn mowing, I give $40 where I live now.. I have been looking at the Patio villas. I have been thinking about renting for a couple of months and see what would be the best to do for me.

Condominium refers to form of ownership , not the configuration of the property. I know of single family homes on condo lots, condo boat slips, condo flats(similar to apartments), condo town houses and many more. In all of these cases as far as I know exterior maintenance is handled by the condo association.
