I put a deposit on my new built home on a wed. And closed three days later on sat morning. Is that fast enough? My finances were all in order.

We had a cottage built, and it was 60 days, with the closing date and time set the day we signed the contract.

We built a home and closed on the day they told us, hour, minute etc.

We didn't have a mortgage.

We bought a new spec house, no mortgage, and closed on the day that they told us. Hour, minute, etc.

A persons personal financing difficulties can slow it down. Some people have complained on this forum about not closing on time and blame TV when they don't do their due diligence in arranging their loan and financing.

We close April 8th and its 30 days from signing Sales Agreement. Thirty days is a TV requirement in Sales Agreement. Extending beyond 30 days will result in monetary penalties assessed to the buyer.
