Same out of Worcester for Jet Blue, except the parking in Worcester is $20 for the week. You can't park in Boston for anything less than $40 for the DAY. And that's not even counting on the headaches of getting in and out of Boston.

I agree , this will be last time we fly out of logan , coming from western maine, manchester has been good in the past but takes as long to get there as it does logan so for less money and we leave the headache of getting in /out of boston to others LOL son in law gets the dubious pleasure of driving us whether he wants to or not

Last year my brother was using Direct Air from Worcester to Sanford till they went belly up (the company, not the plane).

He’ll love this news.

Yes, I took 3 flights with Direct Air. Even though they went belly up due to poor management with respect to fuel prices, the fact that Worcester was their most profitable city of operation did not go unnoticed by many in the airline industry. I still feel bad for the people who got stuck.

Air fare is always less from Boston compared to Providence or Manchester. Its the parking and the traffic that kills you. That being said, I am flying out of Boston Saturday heading to the Villages next week.

You can't beat southwest out of providence, even with parking. Clubs fly free !!

But if Providence is a 45 minute drive and Worcester is a 10 minute drive with cheaper parking than PVD, which one is better for a particular individual's location and situation is the question?

unless there is bad weather, Worcester gets fogged in a lot more and there wont be many flights to be able to rebook.

Actually the plan is the same as Direct Air had. They will bus to or from Logan if needed. Since there are no connecting flights planned it should not be much of an issue.
