I have a strange problem and maybe one of you might know why. I was trying to go to my website, but my computer is bringing up a different website. I had others try to go to the site, and it appears just fine for them.

What makes this even more of a puzzle, my cell phone and tablet also go to that same wrong website. I use a verizon aircard as access for my tablet and laptop, and use my droid on it's own number for my phone.

I downloaded Malwarebytes on my PC and it found no problems. I run Norton on my computer on a normal basis. I cleared my browser/cookies/history etc. I tried it with IE and Firefox.

I had the company hosting my domain name and the company hosting my website both check it out and they don't see any problems and see the correct website.

The one company told me to go to a site called kissmyxxx (you can fill it in) and try to access the website from there and it works.

So am I just insane???:(

I was having that problem for 2 days. I have Norton Security and all also, and there didn't seem to be a problem detected with them. So I went in and did a restore to 2 days earlier when I wasn't having that problem. Whatever it was got corrected.

Go into your Internet Explorer settings and clear out the cache.

For some reason my system won't restore to a checkpoint.

I did clear my cache, deleted cookies, etc. I tried again but no luck :(

The odd thing is the website does not work on my tablet or cell phone as well. That is the weird thing. If it was just the PC I could understand it...but all three?

If so, you could have a typo or corruption in the URL addresses within the shortcut or manager. (By corruption I only mean the web address and not the computers themselves) This may seem a bit far fetched of an idea, but I've had similar problems in the past and it's worth at least throwing it out there just in case.

No - in fact I just got the tablet the other day so I have not done much with it yet. Was a very good thought.

Does anyone think the Verizon connection could be the cause? I think that is the only thing they have in common, although the cell phone uses a different phone number than the aircard I use for the others.

Since that hidemyxxx website changes your IP address it may have something to do with that.

Sure with I could keep up with all this new technology!
