Beginnings a tribute band to Chicago played last night at Savannah center...WOW what a performance great brass section and all 8 band members were very good. I would have to rate this show as one of the best that has played here....great energy

I agree. And they played for an hour and 40 minutes; most shows go about an hour fifteen.

Agree, that is one of the best bands we have seen here in TV. Couple of years back the group was at Katie Belle's but the show last night at Savannah Center was better mostly because they had room to move around and really get into their performance.

I agree, Beginnings was absolutely fabulous Saturday evening! But, did anyone else who went to the 5:30 show think it was odd that a group was seated a half hour late? They climbed over several people to get to their seats. They were down on the floor on the left. I was surprised they were allowed to be seated that late.

I was at the 8:30 show and agree it was a fantastic tribute band. Loved the brass sound.
I did notice several couples leave perhaps about a third of the way into the show. By observation, I would assume these folks might not have been listening to Chicago's music in the 1970s and 1980s. Their formative years were likely many decades earlier (trying to say this diplomatically). That got me musing whether they misunderstood the production thinking they were going to see Chicago the musical and not the rock band.
