My son and 2 grandsons are coming Wednesday from California and they want to know where can they go to get good bagels for breakfast? I'm not a bagel lover so I haven't looked for them.

Not only the best bagels in the villages, but the best bagels I have ever had are Brooklyn Water Bagels. They are located on rolling acres road in the best buy shopping plaza. They are the last store in the plaza.

I agree 100%. Excellent bagels at Brooklyn Water Bagels. I will be back in TV next month to munch on some of their yummy bagels. Wish they would open stores in the Chicago area .:mmmm:

As good as NJ. Maybe coming close to NYC.

Try Hollywood Cafe in Wildwood. You can buy them frozen and bake fresh yourself, or call ahead and they will bake them for you. About a dozen varieties. I like them.

Brooklyn Water Bagels are as good as the best NYC bagels were 50 years ago. If you do buy some, I recommend that you NOT toast them, as they are so good straight up. Toasting is best for inferior bagels to make them edible, or if good ones are less than fresh, in my opinion.
