I need an honest and affordable mechanic. I searched past posts and Michaels in Fruitland Park seemed highly recommended...just trying to find out is this still the place to go since the posts were a while ago...any info would be great...thanks!

Michael is still "our" mechanic when in Florida. We have yet to have any experience that would change that <knock on wood>

I have used Tri County Automotive on 441/27 across from Denny's. I have found them very reputable and as I sat in the waiting room and listened to the owner explain problems and repairs to customers I was impressed. There was no gouging and in some cases they sent the customer to a dealer when it was necessary. I was impressed and continue to use them for my auto work.

We had success with Michael for my Mother's car. Just replaced the freon - could have told us the AC unit needed replaced.

Michael is very affordable and honest. My son always went to him when he had problems with his truck.

Michael is great! Use him for both our cars. He is very honest and more reasonable, price wise. Good for 2nd opinion also.
