Is anyone else having trouble with the forum not loading if they use IE 10? I can load it as normal using Chrome.

It's not loading for me in IE 9.0, but works with Safari. The problem with IE just started earlier today.

Try this and se what happened. At the end of the URL line is an icon that looks line a piece of paper torn in half. That is for Capability mode. Click on it and see if that corrects your problem.
No problem here with IE 10 on both a Windows 7 and 8 Systems.

I had tried that both earlier and just now. Wierd. I just now went to a different machine with IE9 and a blank screen came up again, but an additional window opened up with a Talk of the Villages survey form. Just for grins, I answered three questions; it said thank you and offered me some prizes for which I would have to participate in by performing some other tricks.
I also tried it on my laptop just now and it opened up via IE9 with now questionaire. Wierder yet.

Time to boot up in safe mode and run Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials. Run a full scan and not just a quick scan.

Thanks. That is next. Something else now is weirder. I went to another machine and tried Chrome and now that is not working on that machine, but only on TOTV.

I don't think it's the browsers. The main page would not load today nor just now in Safari nor Chrome using what I always do, having autofill filling in: https://www.talkofthevillages.com
But when I Googled "Talk of the Villages" and clicked on the sub-link for "General Discussion" (having subdirectory filename extensions for that) it works in both browsers.

Good suggestion.
I just tried that on my wife's machine and using a sub domain like classifieds worked.
As soon as my virus scan finishes on my main machine, I will try that there also..
Either a change was made by Admin today or my machine has updated without my knowledge this afternoon. they worked fine this a.m.
Just got it to work on my main machine: www.talkofthevillages.com (https://www.talkofthevillages.com) did not work. But, www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/index.php (https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/index.php)
does work. I don't know what changed this afternoon, but at least it is now working. Thanks, all
